]]>The model's latest look is oh so chic
Emily Ratajkowski has worn some standout sheer outfits in the last few months, but last night's dress may be her most classic iteration of the naked dress so far.
During an evening out in Paris last night, the model was photographed in a vintage Dolce & Gabbana slip dress (sourced from Archive Vintage), comprised of a gauzy beige base layer and a brown netted overlay. The piece was semi-sheer and featured thin spaghetti straps, a plunging scoop neckline, and brown floral lace along the hem. Her black underwear was visible through the piece, and she completed the look with coordinating chocolate-brown strappy sandals.
She accessorized the look minimally, adding chunky gold hoops and a dainty silver ring while carrying a shiny croc-embossed shoulder bag. Her hair was worn in a romantic top knot with her bangs framing her face, and she topped off her glowy makeup look with a glossy nude lip.
And it's giving low-key effortless glam
Emily Ratajkowski is the unofficial queen of naked dressing. From her recent autumnal see-through white floral dress worn with black underwear, to her iconic white sheer summer party dress, there's literally not one occasion or season Emily doesn't master the art of nude dressing for. And it seems we should add Paris Fashion Week to that list too, after Emily just stepped out in the ultimate low-key glam naked look.
Photographed last night (29th September) on the streets of Paris, Emily was spotted looking effortlessly chic in a cream and brown sheer nude dress.
The slip dress appears to have a net style pattern and thin spaghetti straps leading to a plunging neckline, with brown lace detailing on the hemline.
Emily completed the look with brown strappy heels, a dark croc-effect bag and a pair of gold hoops, while her hair was up in a 60s style updo.
The nude dress is just one of the four looks Emily wore for the Friday of Paris Fashion Week, which began earlier this week and continues to Tuesday 3rd October.
Emily began the day at the Loewe show where she gave us some serious autumnal style inspo when she wore a red off the shoulder, thigh-high split Loewe dress complete with Loewe black slouchy heeled boots. If EmRata's a fan of slouchy boots, we're a fan of slouchy boots.
She was then spotted wearing a black crepe maxi Tory Burch dress for a walk around Paris, complete with a pair of red heeled boots from Giaborghini's collab collection with Rosie Huntingon-Whitley.
Later in the evening Emily attended the Coperni show, where she looked incredible in head to toe black, wearing a black sleeveless dress fitted with the brand's signature symbol as a large pin on her waist and a plunging back that goes all the way down to her bum.
She completed her day of four stunning looks with the sheer nude dress. Four looks in one day? We're tired just thinking about it.
Two days after her star-turn in Pharrell Williams' first Louis Vuitton men's campaign was unveiled, Rihanna showed off her late, great maternity style again. Rihanna was photographed grabbing lunch with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky at Los Angeles' Wally's restaurant on Friday.
She wore a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier jersey dress from Archive Vintage and oversized varsity jacket, accessorizing with Puma sneakers and a red Louis Vuitton bag in a nod to the fashion house. She wore her hair down in waves and for beauty, opted for minimal eye makeup and a red statement red lip.
Rihanna is of course still expecting her second child. She and Rocky did not reveal their baby's due date, but she announced her pregnancy during her Super Bowl performance in February, so she's likely very close.

]]>Paloma Elsesser certainly knows how to serve up a look, whether it’s a stunning corseted Coach gown at the Met Gala or a cut-out Dilara Findikoğlu dress. Her latest winning number? A vintage Issey Miyake piece dating back to 1995.
Sourced from Archive, the desert-beige dress features Miyake’s signature pleating, alongside an integrated mantle that can be draped over the shoulders or worn up as a hood. Elsesser teamed the archival number with pearl-drop earrings from Prounis and Manolo Blahnik heels.
It’s not the first piece that Elsesser has worn from Archive. The model also sported a vintage Lacroix evening bag at a Met Gala after-party earlier this month. With Rihanna being another of the vintage dealer’s high-profile fans, we can’t wait to see what other archival gems appear on fashion’s favourite It-girls next.
When news broke earlier this week that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child, the world went into overdrive. The queen of street style, whose outfits always make headlines, curated perhaps the coolest pregnancy announcement outfit ever. Photographed looking radiant, while cozied up to her boyfriend in his birthplace of Harlem, Rih wore a hot-pink Chanel fall 1996 coat with a Christian Lacroix gemstone crucifix necklace draped over her bump.
The collector behind that special piece of jewelry is Kerry Bonnell, the longtime vintage connoisseur and founder of Archive vintage. “I purchased that necklace from an auction specifically for Rihanna; it reminds me of the ’80s in a wonderful way,” recalls the collector, who first connected with one of Rihanna’s stylists, Nini Nguyen, in a Dallas store in 2019. “Nini’s super sweet and knows what Rihanna wants. After working with them for so long, I feel like I do too.”
The vintage seller, who’s been running online and brick-and-mortar stores since 2006, didn’t follow the traditional route into fashion. After a stint at Parsons, Bonell, who hails from New York and started thrifting from a young age, found herself in Dallas, unsure of her next career move. “I had to decide on whether or not I was going to work at a newly opened Barney’s or take a risk with my vintage store. Luckily, it all worked out,” The dealer quickly cultivated an online network of sellers and collectors, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fast forward to 2022, and Bonnell has accumulated a sumptuous collection of Gucci dresses, Jean Paul Gaultier outerwear, Chanel sunglasses and Dior accessories—all of which the self-proclaimed bad gal loves. “Whether it’s tomorrow or a year from now, it’s always a joy to see Rihanna in the pieces I’ve sourced – she loves crosses and anything unique,” says Bonnell. “Just last week, she wore a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier parka I found a while ago, which has wonderful orange quilting inside. It looks so cool in person!” The superstar is also a fan of Bonnell’s collection of form-fitting gowns.
As for her online tips for first-time eBay users who want to bag Gucci sunglasses or a Fendi coat for themselves? “Memorize pieces from the runway and don’t always search the term vintage first,” Bonell concludes. “Items often aren’t marked as vintage online, but are still extremely rare.”
When it comes to sourcing vintage, no one does it quite like Rihanna. Remember when she whipped out those Tom Ford-era Gucci jeans? Or that autumn/winter 2000 Dior by John Galliano coat? Well, we’re pleased to report that she’s gone and scored another hero item.
RiRi was all smiles as she headed towards A$AP Rocky’s music studio in New York wearing an outfit that was equal parts sports luxe and archive heaven. At first glance, the coat shrugged over her shoulders might look like any ordinary parka. But at this point, we all know that ordinary just doesn’t cut it for Rihanna. The entrepreneur was sporting a rare Jean Paul Gaultier parka dating back to 1980, sourced by Archive, the mogul’s go-to for one-of-a-kind pieces. She teamed her outerwear with a vintage basketball jersey from Procell, citrus opera gloves from Prada and her beloved Amina Muaddi crystal-embellished heels.
RiRi is one of many stars revelling in the Gaultier revival. FKA Twigs’s collection of JPG pieces is drool-worthy. And it’s no secret that the Kardashian clan are positively besotted with the designer. His popularity extends to the small screen, too. Euphoria’s Rue (Zendaya) just wore a jacquard vest from the ’90s. And who could forget when Carrie Bradshaw donned an outfit plucked straight from the 1997 runway in And Just Like That…?
