Follow the Yellow Brick Rhodes

I have had a huge crush on this Zandra Rhodes garment at Archive for a couple weeks now.  Not only does it make me want to twirl around to music of the 70's (shout out Stevie), but I imagine a glamorous housewife wearing something of this sort around the pool with a glass of lemonade in her hand.  Zandra Rhodes started off her career in the early 70s among other brilliant designers who were the forefront of fashion during this time.  She designed for Princess Diana and Freddie Mercury of Queen. She has kept an image throughout her entire career whether it be with neon hair, theater make-up, or her brilliant creations. You can find her garments throughout museums and she even founded the Fashion and Textile Museum in London in 2003 with Princess Michael of Kent.
