For more than a decade, the exuberant, brightly colored and unapologetically luxe work of Wearstler has garnered the designer such high-profile clients as Cameron Diaz and Gwen Stefani, countless editorial features and a storefront on 1stdibs. This week, she launches a limited-edition collection with artist Shantell Martin, in which Martin uses her trademark black-and-white line drawings to transform Wearstler-designed items, ranging from a lambskin leather jacket to a Calcutta marble sculpture. Wearstler’s ever-expanding design empire continues to grow, with new lighting, bedding, fabric, dinnerware and rug collections planned for the coming months along with a never-ending slate of interiors projects, including four hotel commissions on the horizon for 2015.
